I am a young, fit 69 year old, with a lot of living yet to do. I am best defined by my lifelong interest in natural history and my love of the countryside. I would love to meet someone who might be able to share this life with me. Is there a potential soulmate out there? I am particularly involved with botany and ornithology. Also, and not unconnected, I love travel and have been to every continent, avoiding tourist resorts as much as possible. I particularly love France, go there atr least twice a year, and speak French.
I would like to think that I am kind, generous and honest and enjoy the company of others, although I need solitude at times and am not a party animal. I think I am considerate and thoughtful, sometimes to the point of finding it hard to m ake decisions. I've usually been regarded as being rather absent-minded. I love a very wide range of music, including opera, reading, art and am also interested in politics.
Miscellaneous likes are chocolate, TV drama serials and comedies, Braeburn apples, hot sun and dandelions. Dislikes include anchovies and round shoe-laces (which always come undone).
